Introduction of FAPAC |
Established in 1985, FAPAC’s mission is to
encourage equal opportunity and diversity in the
Government through education and recognition of outstanding
performance. The annual conference is the flagship of our
mission in:
• Increasing AAPI participation in government by assisting
government agencies in promoting, establishing, and maintaining
an effective and equitable participation of AAPIs in the
workforce through education, job fairs, networking with the
Asian Pacific American business communities and related events.
• Promoting recognition of AAPI competencies in the Federal work
place.
• Finding solutions to challenges.
• Establishing coalitions and good will for AAPIs in the public
sector and the corporate workforce.
• Training for advancement, leadership and cultural
understanding.
Through our network of local chapters FAPAC reach out across the
nation while the National chapter focuses on maintaining
strategic partnerships and coalitions at top levels in
Washington, D.C. FAPAC is a founding member of the National
Coalition for Equity in Public Service (NCEPS) that
includes Blacks in Government (BIG), Federally Employed Women
(FEW), and Hispanic National Image. In addition, FAPAC also form
partner with similar organizations and Federal agencies on
special training initiatives. FAPAC is an education based IRC
501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization.
